In 1925, Carlo Biscaretti designed the advertising campaign for Evangelisti's anisette, an Italian liqueur made from aniseed and liquorice. This poster with a yellow background shows a thirsty chimpanzee standing on a wooden crate, tasting the anisette from the neck, bottle in hand. Nicknamed "the drunken monkey", its lightness and humorous tone has made it very popular.

Carlo Biscaretti, an Italian artist, is particularly well known for his work in industrial design and his investment in the automotive sector (collections, racing, journalism...). He is the founder of the Turin Automobile Museum.
