Step into the golden age of Alpine travel with this stunning Art Deco poster by Roger Broders — a rare and collectible masterpiece from 1932.

Created for the prestigious PLM railway company (Paris–Lyon–Méditerranée), this vivid color lithograph promotes the curative mountain resort of Passy–Mont–Blanc, perched between 800 and 1,400 meters above sea level, facing the majestic Mont Blanc. With its flowering cherry trees, sunlit rooftops, and a timeless view of the Alpine landscape, the composition radiates serenity and the elegance of interwar tourism.

This striking visual is the work of Roger Broders (1883–1953), a French master of Art Deco travel posters, whose hallmark style blends bold color blocks, geometric clarity, and striking vertical perspectives. Commissioned directly by the PLM to illustrate their most iconic destinations, Broders produced fewer than 100 posters during his lifetime, making each surviving piece highly sought after.

Printed in Paris by Vaugirard in July 1932, this lithograph measures approximately 100 × 62 cm (39 × 24 inches). The condition (to be specified: original, linen-backed, restored, etc.) ensures it retains its full graphic impact. This particular artwork is referenced in several key publications, including La Montagne s’Affiche (p. 218) and Broders (p. 85).
