Original French poster by Ousserko for the American film Winning directed by James Goldstone in 1969.

In 1969 James Goldstone directed Virages, Winning in the original version. Classic of the cinema of the 60s and 70s, it is in line with the films of its time around the automobile passion and which counts for example Le Mans or Grand Prix, La Coccinelle.... The final race scene includes images of the legendary Indianapolis 500 Mile (or Indy500) race taken at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 1966 and 1968.

Starring Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward and Robert Wagner, Winning tells the story of racecar driver Frank Capua, who leaves his wife for competition. The latter then cheats on him with his competitor.

The French poster, signed by Ousserko, takes up all the axes of the film. Paul Newman's face, helmet on his head and glasses around his neck, is surrounded by three images taken from the film representing the major themes of the plot: running, love and male rivalry.
