Plunging into the joyous world of post-war advertising, this extremely rare large-format poster from 1962, signed Savignac after Hergé, brings together two giants of the visual arts: Raymond Savignac, master of the French poster, and Tintin, the emblematic hero of European comics.

Produced to mark the aborted launch of the soft drink Tintin Orange, this advertising piece captures a playful, tender moment: Tintin and Snowy sharing a bottle through a straw, in Savignac's own minimalist, expressive style. The poster, printed by Hénon in Paris, is a perfect example of the meeting of graphic art, visual storytelling and marketing in the 60s.

Today highly sought-after by lovers of graphic art, vintage design and comics, this poster is more than just an advertising medium: it's a work of art in its own right, bearing witness to a bygone era and project, and has become a must-have collector's item.

The Tintin Orange project: a marketing anecdote

This soda was marketed in the late 1960s, with the agreement of Studios Hergé, including label, souvenir ticket, etc. However, disputes between limonadiers soon cancelled the launch, making the poster an advertising object - a prototype that was not widely distributed and therefore extremely rare.
