Original advertising poster designed in 1957 by Raymond Savignac for the soda brand Vérigoud

Vérigoud is a sparkling orange or lemon drink developed in Algeria in 1954 by Mr. Goudovin, a specialist in "soda pastes".

This 1957 promotional poster designed by Raymond Savignac announces: "Vérigoud, it's so good". Indeed, the smiling child depicted with his arms loaded cannot help but drink four bottles at a time through straws. The slogan takes up the pun on the consonance of the brand name, Vérigoud, which sounds like "very good" meaning "very good" in English.

Orangina's competitor at its launch (for whom Savignac will also design advertising campaigns following the example of his colleague Villemot), the Vérigoud soda, however, is sinking into oblivion.

A great French poster artist, Raymond Savignac's work, which stands out for its simple and effective lines, childlike style and humorous tone, is now part of French heritage.
