This original poster, designed around 1955, advertises the Belgian airline Sabena's flights to South Africa.

Very modern, it represents in a pop way a Zulu warrior (also known as a "Zulu warrior") impi) in traditional dress: he wears an apron similar to a loincloth called a amabheshuIt has arm and ankle bracelets, as well as a shield with pointed ends and a spear. The headdress, made of a headband and reserved for married men, is called the umqhele.

On a dark turquoise blue background, this moving portrait is made up of flat areas of colour that seem to be inspired by pop art just born in the 1950s and that are reminiscent of silkscreen printing. The straight lines that punctuate the poster represent the white streaks of the planes, which can be seen on the right in the middle of the decorative grid that covers the right edge of the drawing.
