Original poster Grosser Preis von Deutschland für Rennwagen, Nürburgring 28 July 1935.

This original poster announces the German Grand Prix held on July 28, 1935 at the Nürburgring circuit. It is one of the events of the European Drivers' Championship.

Despite the rain, between 220,000 and 300,000 spectators came to watch the race, hoping to see the triumph of the Silver Arrows (Mercedes-Benz and Auto Union), which nevertheless suffered their second defeat in the championship until the outbreak of the war. The public, as well as the dignitaries of the Nazi regime, were stunned by the results, predicting a German triumph in the service of propaganda. The race was won by the Italian Tazio Nuvolari of the Ferrari team, at the wheel of an Alpha Romeo Tipo B.
