This original design by French artist Charles Lepas, created in the mid-1990s, promotes the practice of tennis. Its square format and original composition give it the particularity of being able to be hung both horizontally and vertically (either square or diamond shaped).

The poster shows a tennis player from behind, serving, the geometric lines of the background suggesting the shape of a court.

We recognize the influences of several styles:
- De Stijl: radical abstraction, neoplasticism, combinations of vertical and horizontal lines or volumes, flat colour areas)
- Bauhaus: flinear and geometrical elm, importance of line and colour
- Art Deco: elegance, symmetry, geometrisation, stylistic unity for decorative purposes, opposition of curves and straight lines, angular precision and stepped contours, geometrical typography .

The colours and especially the pastel tones used are typical of the style of the late 1980s and early 1990s.
