Original Japanese Poster The 24 Hours of Le Mansdirected by Lee H. Katzin in 1971.

Although not a box-office hit at the time, Le Mans is now widely regarded as one of the best racing movies. Directed by Lee H. Katzin in 1971 with Steve McQueen at the height of his fame as Michael DelaneyIt includes authentic images of the 1970 Le Mans 24-hour race.

This Japanese poster is an extremely rare model. It shows Steve McQueen wearing his iconic beige Gulf racing outfit with red and blue stripes, embroidered with his character's name. The original combination of the film was also sold at an auction in California for $800,000.

Although the actor's fetish watch does not appear in the image, it is nevertheless evoked by the Tag Heueur brand logo.
